USGS (United States Geological Survey) announced that the Kilauea volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii erupted on June 7th, 2023.

The volcano has NO IMPACT on Global Village Hawaii students or Honolulu.

It is 320 km away, with four islands and lots of ocean between them.
